Dow Química, Villares, SEMESA, Ericsson, Singer, Goodyear, CPFL, Elektro, DPaschoal. Sotreq. Valeo, Rigesa, International Paper, Nortel, Lucent, Samsung, Motorola, Medley, Cristália, Romi, Tenneco, General Electric, Texas Instruments, Mabe, EMS Farma, MDS Farma, Altana, Solectron, Magnetti Marelli, Amsted Maxon, Eaton, Galvani, Selmi, Nutron, AmBev, Caterpillar, Bombardier, Atento Brasil, ACS, Dedic and others.
Its petrochemical site is centered in Paulinia, located just a few kilometers from Campinas, starting by the “Refinaria do Planalto da Petrobrás” (Replan), Brazil’s largest and one of Latin America’s largest oil refineries, as well as companies such as Dupont, Chevron, Shell, Exxon, Ypiranga, Eucatex, Rhodia, and the like. Campinas also owns within its metropolitan area, the Viracopos International Airport – located in southern Campinas, it is the second largest cargo terminal in the nation and the largest import/export site. The largest companies in the region own yearly revenue of over US$ 80 billion, which is bigger than several Latin American countries.
