  CAMPINAS METROPOLITAN REGION - Campinas is the main city in the Campinas Metropolitan Region (CMR), composed of 19 paulista municipalities (with more than 2.6 million inhabitants): Americana, Artur Nogueira, Campinas, Cosmópolis, Engenheiro Coelho, Hortolândia, Indaiatuba, Itatiba, Jaguariúna, Monte Mor, Nova Odessa, Paulínia, Pedreira, Santa Bárbara d'Oeste, Santo Antônio de Posse, Sumaré, Valinhos and Vinhedo; and it is one of the most dynamic cities in Brazilian Economic scenery. Nowadays, the city holds about 1/3 of state industrial population. It features high technology companies and its metalwork park. Besides owning solid economy, the region also features enough infrastructure which enables the whole region economic growth.

PRIVILEGED LOCATION - City is close both to the capital São Paulo (96 km), Brazil financial heart, and to Santos port (172 km), the largest one in Latin America and the High-Speed Trains (TAV) - a state-ofthe - art new transportation choice - will link Campinas to São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte and Curitiba.
